@eloisa Everyone should maintain their composure. PHP is not a threat to you, and you should not fear it. When it comes to SEO, some people may warn you to avoid using certain dynamic website technologies. SEO can benefit from languages like PHP, which make your site more efficient and easier to maintain.

Your website's search engine friendliness is determined by the overall, strategic, and content-rich design of your website. SEO is built on the foundation of high-quality content. PHP is simply one of several tools available for creating dynamic websites, such as those that retrieve data from a database and display it on the page.

It's not uncommon for a page's URL (or "path") to appear cumbersome and unappealing.

This isn't as search engine friendly as we'd like it to be. While it's possible to use a built-in custom URL option in your software (such as WordPress or Joomla) or an SEO-friendly URL module (such as Drupal and Path Auto) to optimize your website's URLs, you can also use mod rewrite features of your web server and modify .htaccess files to accomplish this.

Many people mistakenly believe that "PHP is not SEO-friendly" because of the URL problem. This is a blatant falsehood. It's not just ASP that can have URLs that seem like numbers or formulas; many other database programs can have URLs that look like numbers or formulas, too. As a result, working with your web host can be necessary in some circumstances if your hosting server does not enable the ability to modify URLs (if the server does not support mod rewrite).

In summary, PHP itself does not have a direct impact on SEO. The SEO-friendliness of a website depends on various factors such as the overall design, content quality, and URL structure. PHP can be used to create dynamic websites and handle data retrieval from databases, which can make your site more efficient and easier to maintain. However, the SEO impact ultimately depends on how well these dynamic features are implemented and optimized.
